''Hidden Homicide'' is a 1959 British mystery film directed by Anthony Young and written by Bill Luckwell and Anthony Young. It is based on the 1951 novel ''Death at Shinglestrand'' by Paul Capon. Tony Young (director)
Tony Young (1917 - 1966) was a British film director and television producer. His films include ''Penny Points to Paradise (1951)'', ''The Eternal Question'' ( 1956) and '' The Runaway'' (1963). ''Penny Points to Paradise'' was the feature film debut of the stars of ''The Goon Show'', Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe and Peter Sellers. Richard Shaw (actor)
Richard Shaw (19 November 1920 – 11 April 2010) was an English actor remembered for appearing in the science fiction franchises ''Quatermass'' and ''Doctor Who'', as well as having a regular role as henchman Ryan in the children's series ''Freewheelers''. Shaw appeared in the 1959 TV serial of '' Quatermass and the Pit'' playing drill operator Sladden. He was asked to reprise the role in the 1967 film adaptation but was unable to do so due to other commitments. Duncan Lamont (from ''The Quatermass Experiment'') was therefore cast instead. Shaw made three appearances in ''Doctor Who'': ''The Space Museum'', ''Frontier in Space'' and ''Underworld''. Jan Wilson CBE (1944 – 2 August 2010) was a Labour councillor in Sheffield and formerly the leader of Sheffield City Council. Her career outside politics saw her volunteer with the Citizens Advice Bureau in 1975, and she joined the staff in 1988, remaining until 2002. She was Leader of the Labour Group on Sheffield City Council from 1998 until her death in 2010, and served twice as Leader of the Council, in 1998–99 and again in 2002–08. Frank Hawkins, Jr. (born July 3, 1959) is an American former football running back who played seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders from 1981 to 1987. He is also a former Las Vegas City Council member. Football career Hawkins' football career began in Las Vegas' Pop Warner system and continued through Western High School, where he was a star running back. After graduation in 1977, he earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he played for four seasons and was a three-time All-American (Division I-AA) at running back, and twice the I-AA rushing leader.
