A live house (ライブハウス) is a Japanese live music club – a music venue featuring live music. The term is a Japanese coinage ( wasei eigo) and is mainly used in East Asia. It most frequently refers to smaller venues, which may double as bars, especially featuring rock, jazz, blues, and folk music. Warbringer is an American thrash metal band formed in 2004. Century Media Records signed Warbringer after seeing them at a local show in LA. Originally, a Century Media rep was at the show to see another LA thrash metal band but decided to sign Warbringer instead. Vader (band)
Vader is a Polish death metal band from Olsztyn. Formed in 1983, the group was founded by then-bassist Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek and guitarist Zbigniew "Vika" Wróblewski. Vader went through several lineup changes over the years, with Wiwczarek as the only constant member. Since 2022, the band has comprised Wiwczarek on guitars and vocals, guitarist Marek "Spider" Pająk, bassist Tomasz "Hal" Halicki, and drummer Michał Andrzejczyk. King Ly Chee is a hardcore band from Hong Kong. Music The band's sound is characterized by hardcore, usually with shouted verses, interspersed with melodic flourishes. History King Ly Chee was formed in May 1999 fueled by the fire and passion of a form of music called 9core. In 1999, the music climate of Hong Kong was an unhealthy world of cover bands passing themselves off as "hardcore" or "metal" while belting out tunes by Limp Bizkit. My Little Airport
My Little Airport is a Hong Kong-based indie pop band. Their English lyrics are marked by spelling, grammar, and rhythm inflected by Hong Kong English. The band's lyrics and music are written by Ah P (Lam Pang) and sung by Nicole (Nicole Au Kin-ying). The duo occasionally invite friends (Ah Suet, who speaks French, for instance) and relatives (Nicole's younger sister) to participate in their albums and shows. Nova Heart
"Nova Heart" is a song by the Canadian new wave band Spoons. It was released in May 1982 as the first single from their 1982 album ''Arias & Symphonies''. It was their first song to appear on the Canadian singles chart. Following the success of the initial 7″ single version of "Nova Heart" (#40 Canada), an extended 12″ single was subsequently released. The B-side, "Symmetry," which did not appear on the ''Arias & Symphonies'' album, was a dance single, and while it did not get much airplay, it got significant play in clubs. Nova Heart was re-released as a 30th Anniversary Edition CD on March 26, 2012. Carsick Cars
Carsick Cars is a Chinese indie rock trio formed in March 2005. Carsick Cars released their self-titled debut album in 2007 on Maybe Mars in China and on tenzenmen in Australia. The band joined Sonic Youth for their European tour in Prague and Vienna in 2007. A 7" single of tracks taken from that album was released in the UK by Suyin Records. In June 2009, the band released their second album, ''You Can Listen, You Can Talk''. In March 2010, 2011, and 2012 Carsick Cars performed at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas. Hedgehog is a Chinese indie rock trio formed in 2005 by partners ZO (Zhao Zijian) and Atom (Shi Lu).
