Hi-5 (series 13)
The thirteenth series of the children's television series '' Hi-5'' aired between 17 October 2011 and 16 December 2011 on the Nine Network in Australia. The series was produced by Southern Star and Nine with Noel Price as executive producer. This was the last series to feature Casey Burgess, Fely Irvine and Tim Maddren. Lauren Brant and Stevie Nicholson continued as cast members in the spin-off series ''Hi-5 House''. Production Following the Nine Network and Southern Star's acquisition of the Hi-5 franchise in 2008, a deal was made to produce five new series of the program featuring the "new generation" cast. Southern Star produced two of these series in 2009 and 2010, and begun production of the third in 2011. Noel Price returned as the executive producer for his third series, and all five cast members; Lauren Brant, Casey Burgess, Fely Irvine, Tim Maddren and Stevie Nicholson, returned. Lauren Brant
Lauren Marie Brant-Hall (born 24 February 1989) is a South African-Australian television personality and actress. Brant is a former member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5. Early life Brant was born in South Africa and moved with her family to Australia's Gold Coast shortly after birth. She began singing, dancing, acting and modelling at the age of three. Career Brant began her career as an actress with various roles in Australian television. In 2007, Brant appeared on '' H2O: Just Add Water''. She also featured on ''The Strip'', ''Mortified'', ''The Starter Wife'' and ''Are We There Yet?'' She also featured in various theatre productions and the travelling ''Humphrey Bear'' show in 2007. Casey Burgess
Casey Anne Burgess (born 19 December 1988) is an Australian actress, television personality and singer. Burgess is a former member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5 from 2008 to 2013. She was born in Sydney, the daughter of Ray Burgess, who also pursued a musical career and was a presenter on ''Countdown''. Career Burgess's first television appearances included the TV show ''Home and Away'' and the TV movie '' Scorched''. At the age of fifteen, she was also a presenter for '' Girl TV''. Burgess joined the Australian children's musical group Hi-5 in April 2008. As part of the group, she toured and filmed the television series of the same name. Fely Irvine
Fely Irvine (born 1988/1989) is an Australian actress, singer and dancer. She was a former member of Hi-5 and became a contestant in ''The Voice''. She left Hi-5 in 2011 after three years with the group. Irvine went on the live in the U.S where sings on the Mastros circuit. She was a contestant on American Idol and made top 60. She replaced Sun Park, who played as Ginger in Gasp! in 2009 and was in turn succeeded by Dayen Zheng in 2012. Irvine is of half-Filipino and half-Scottish ancestry. Tim Maddren
Timothy Maddren (born 3 March 1984) is a New Zealand-born Australian musician best known as a member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5. He was a replacement for Nathan Foley in 2008. He left Hi-5 in February 2013 after four years. His replacement was Ainsley Melham. Maddren worked at Hi-5 in three seasons (135 episodes). Early life Maddren was born in Blenheim, New Zealand. He was raised in a musical family and was encouraged from an early age to develop his performing and entertaining skills. He plays guitar, piano, trumpet and drums. Maddren is left-handed. Stevie Nicholson
Stevie Nicholson (born 30 December 1983) is an Australian television personality and performer. He is a former member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5 from 2007 to 2015. Early life Nicholson was born in Hobart and grew up in Melbourne, attending St Kevin's College in Melbourne. Before he became a member of Hi-5, he had worked at Brainstorm Productions on a show called ''Verbal Combat''. He has revealed that his childhood was marred by a serious illness, bacterial meningitis, before he discovered acting in his teenage years.
