Special guest appearance included the D-Men member and Brutus Marcus Junius Brutus (; ; 85 BC – 23 October 42 BC), often referred to simply as Brutus, was a Roman politician, orator, and the most famous of the assassins of Julius Caesar. After being adopted by a relative, he used the name Quintus Serv .... The album reached number 27 in the Dutch top 100 charts and remained in the charts for 14weeks. Lange Frans & Baas B
Lange Frans & Baas B ("Tall Frans & Boss B") is a Dutch hip hop duo. Both Lange Frans (alias of Frans Frederiks) and Baas B (alias of Bart Zeilstra) grew up in Diemen, North Holland. Musical career 1997-2003: Underground music In 1997, after a freestyle session on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid, the duo created hiphop collective D-Men alongside Brutus, Frans' brother. The English pronunciation of "D-Men" is similar to the Dutch pronunciation of the name of their home town. As D-Men they released their first single in 1999, entitled "Zoveel Mensen" ("So Many People"), and they won a talent hunt that was organised by Stichting Grap ("Joke Foundation") in 2001. D-Men
D-Men was a Dutch rap formation established in 1997 under the name D-Men Squad. This was after a freestyle session they held on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid. The original members of D-Men were rapper Lange Frans, his brother rapper Brutus and a childhood friend rapper-singer Bart Zeilstra better known as Baas B. They picked the name that sound like their home town Diemen. Many others joined in the formation, famous for its mixtapes ''De Straatremixes''. D-Men also have their own record label named D-Men Entertainment. Brutus (rapper)
Thijs Frederiks, better known by his stage name Brutus, (born in Amsterdam on 23 April 1983) is a Dutch rapper originating from Diemen, Netherlands. Alongside his older brother Lange Frans and rapper-singer better known as Baas B was a founding member of D-Men and the band's manager. Brutus had important recordings on ''De Straatremixes'' series of three D-Men mixtapes and cooperation with other D-Men members (rappers, singers and DJs) Lange Frans, Baas B, Negativ, Yes-R, Brace, C-Ronic and also with Darryl, The Opposites and Riza. Eddy Brace Rashid MacDonald (born 23 August 1986), shortened to Brace, is a Dutch singer. He is best known for his collaborations with Dutch rapper Ali B, who helped to bring Brace to stardom after their first musical collaboration on the hit single "Ik ben je zat" released in the summer of 2004. Early life Brace was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, as a child of Surinamese parents. The family moved to the Netherlands, where he was raised in Amsterdam.
