David H. Goodman is an American television writer and producer. He is known for his work on the CBS drama ''Without a Trace'' and the FOX science fiction series '' Fringe''. He currently serves as writer and executive producer on the ABC fantasy series ''Once Upon a Time''. Career In 1997, Goodman became a script coordinator for the Sci-Fi television series '' The Visitor''. The series was cancelled after its first season and Goodman became script coordinator for the supernatural drama series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. He joined the crew of ''Buffy'' mid-way through the second season in 1998. Goodman left the show with the close of the sixth season in 2002. Harry Lewis Golden (May 6, 1902 – October 2, 1981) was an American writer and newspaper publisher. Early life Golden was born Herschel Goldhirsch (or Goldenhurst) in the shtetl Mikulintsy, Austria-Hungary. His mother Nuchama (nee Klein) was Romanian and his father Leib was Austrian. In 1904 Leib Goldhirsch, a former Hebrew teacher, emigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, only to move the family to New York City the next year and "became an editor of the Jewish Daily Forward." For a time, Harry worked as a newspaper seller on the Lower East Side and could remember shouting out headlines about the Leo Frank case about which he later wrote a book. As a teenager, he became interested in Georgism, and later spoke on its behalf. He became a stockbroker but lost his job in the 1929 stock market crash. John Herschel Glenn Jr. (July 18, 1921 – December 8, 2016) was an American Marine Corps aviator, engineer, astronaut, businessman, and politician. He was the third American in space, and the first American to orbit the Earth, circling it three times in 1962. Following his retirement from NASA, he served from 1974 to 1999 as a Democratic United States Senator from Ohio; in 1998, he flew into space again at age 77. Before joining NASA, Glenn was a distinguished fighter pilot in World War II, the Chinese Civil War and the Korean War. Herschelle Herman Gibbs (born 23 February 1974) is a South African cricket coach and former cricketer, who played all formats of the game for fourteen years. A right-handed batsman, mostly opened the batting, Gibbs became the first player to hit six consecutive sixes in one over in One Day International (ODI) cricket, doing so against the Netherlands in the 2007 Cricket World Cup. Herschel Garfein (born January 17, 1958) is an American composer, librettist, stage director, and faculty member of the Steinhardt School of Music at New York University, where he teaches Script Analysis. Garfein is widely known for his libretto written for Robert Aldridge's ''Elmer Gantry,'' which won two 2012 Grammy Awards including "Best Contemporary Classical Composition" won by Garfein and Aldridge. He also collaborated with Aldridge on the oratorio ''Parables''. In his compositions for the musical ''Suenos'' he found an inspiration in Hispanic rhythms. Garfein also composed the music and libretto for an opera based on the Tom Stoppard play ''Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead''. He was best known for having been considered by President Richard Nixon for an appointment as Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court in 1971. Also, he and his law firm represented the Little Rock School District during the 1957 Central High School Crisis, and defended various school districts in Arkansas against desegregation lawsuits throughout the 1960s.
