	Christopher Herrod Christopher N. Herrod (born August 31, 1965) is an American real estate developer and politician from Provo. He was a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing the 62nd district from 2007-2012. He was an unsuccessful candidate to replace Jason Chaffetz in the 2017 Utah's 3rd congressional district special election. In 2016, he ran for the Utah State Senate District 16 seat against incumbent Curt Bramble, but was defeated in the primary. Herrod was a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), serving as Utah state leader. 	Jeff Herrod Jeff Sylvester Herrod (born July 29, 1966) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League for the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the ninth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He played college football for Ole Miss. Early life Herrod grew up in a housing project in Birmingham, Alabama. He had to walk two miles to play in a youth football league that didn't charge a fee, and initially had to make do with hand-me-down shoulder pads that he found in a dumpster behind a community center. College career Herrod initially planned to enlist in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Banks High School, but decided instead to play at Ole Miss under head coach Billy Brewer, the only Division I program to offer him a scholarship. 	Bob Herrod Edwin Robert Herrod (1866–1918), born in Radford, Nottingham, was an English footballer who played as a forward. As a 15-year-old, he lived in Derby earning his living as a gimp maker. After moving from Derby St Luke's, he became a top scoring winger for Doncaster Rovers in the Midland Alliance for the 1890–91 season, netting 14 times in all League and cup games. This attracted attention from Leicester Fosse from the Midland League who signed him in September 1891. After one goal in eight games, he moved to Rotherham Town. He scored in a record 11–0 defeat of Leicester in April 1892, where Leicester were disadvantaged by having to play with only ten men as a player did not turn up. He later played for Derby Town. 	Darryl Herrod Darryl Herrod (born 2 June 1945) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong and Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Herrod came to Geelong from Assumption College, in Kilmore. He made over 75 appearances for the Geelong reserves and won the Gardiner Medal in 1966, but managed just seven senior games. At Fitzroy he put together regular senior appearances, with his most productive season coming in 1970 when he appeared in 19 rounds. A half back flanker, he spent 1972 and 1973 in Tasmania, with the North Hobart Football Club.
