Herrljunga Cider is a low-alcohol cider produced by Herrljunga Brewery in Sweden. The Brewery claims that Herrljunga is Sweden's best selling cider, based on sales figures collected by AC Nielson and Systembolaget. Herrljunga Brewery was founded in 1911. The company is under the fourth generation of family ownership and currently produces cider not just under its own brands but for other companies too. Cider ( ) is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of apples. Cider is widely available in the United Kingdom (particularly in the West Country) and the Republic of Ireland. (, "the System Company"), colloquially known as ("the system") or ("the company"), is a government-owned chain of liquor stores in Sweden. It is the only retail store allowed to sell alcoholic beverages that contain more than 3.5% alcohol by volume. Systembolaget acts as a portal for private companies selling alcohol on the Swedish market and currently (2022) it represents 1200 vendors ranging from small local breweries to large scale importers and multinational companies, selling products from a total of over 5000 producers from all over the world. Mulled wine, also known as spiced wine, is an alcoholic drink usually made with red wine, along with various mulling spices and sometimes raisins, served hot or warm. It is a traditional drink during winter, especially around Christmas. It is usually served at Christmas markets in Europe, primarily in Germany. There are non-alcoholic versions of it. Vodka-spiked mulled wine can be found in Polish Christmas markets, where mulled wine is commonly used as a mixer.
