Herminia Roman
Herminia B. Roman (née Batista, born July 9, 1940) is a Filipino politician. She was a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines under the Liberal Party, representing the 1st District of Bataan from 2007 to 2016. She was succeeded by her daughter, Geraldine Roman. Early life and education Herminia B. Roman was born on July 9, 1940, in Biñan, Laguna to Dr. Marcelino Zarate Batista and Nicomedesa Vizconde Reyes. She is the third of four children and has three half-siblings from her mother's first marriage. She took her elementary education at Biñan Elementary School from 1946 to 1952. She finished her secondary education at St. Scholastica's College in 1956. She finished her college degree at St. Scholastica's College in 1960, and obtained her master's degree in Business Administration from New York University in 1964. Paper Recycling
The recycling of paper is the process by which waste paper is turned into new paper products. It has a number of important benefits: It saves waste paper from occupying homes of people and producing methane as it breaks down. Because paper fibre contains carbon (originally absorbed by the tree from which it was produced), recycling keeps the carbon locked up for longer and out of the atmosphere. Around two-thirds of all paper products in the US are now recovered and recycled, although it does not all become new paper. After repeated processing the fibres become too short for the production of new paper, which is why virgin fibre (from sustainably farmed trees) is frequently added to the pulp recipe.
