Hermenegildo Ramírez Sánchez
Hermenegildo Ramírez Sánchez, (13 April 1929 – 29 January 2022) was a Mexican Roman Catholic prelate. Life Ramírez Sánchez entered the Congregation of the Missionaries of Saint Joseph and made his profession on 12 December 1945. He was ordained as priest on 5 July 1953. Pope Paul VI appointed him on 4 January 1975, the first prelate of Huautla and Titular Bishop of Santa Giusta. The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico, Mario Pio Gaspari, consecrated him on 19 March of the same year in the Cathedral of San Juan Evangelista in Huautla de Jiménez; Co-consecrators were Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada, Archbishop of Antequera, and Braulio Sánchez Fuentes SDB, Prelate of Mixes. On 15 February 1978, Ramírez Sánchez renounced his titular bishop seat in the course of the new allocation guidelines of the Roman Curia. Ernesto Corripio Y Ahumada
Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada (June 29, 1919 – April 10, 2008) was a cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Archbishop of Mexico in Mexico City (1977–1994) and was Primate of Mexico. In the consistory of June 30, 1979 in Vatican City Pope John Paul II created him Cardinal Priest of the titular church of '' Mary Immaculate of Tiburtino''. Life Corripio y Ahumada was ordained to the priesthood on October 15, 1942. He served as a diocesan priest in his hometown of Tampico for ten years. Braulio Sánchez Fuentes, S.D.B. (4 August 1922 – 18 November 2003) was a Mexican Roman Catholic prelate. Life Sánchez Fuentes entered to religious congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco and after his profession was ordained as priest on 28 October 1950. Pope Paul VI appointed him on 16 March 1966 as the Apostolic Administrator and on 14 January 1970 as the first prelate of the newly created Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Mixes and Titular Bishop of Aquae Novae in Proconsulari.
