''Herkules Jonssons storverk'' (''"The Labours of Hercules Jonsson"'') was the Sveriges Television's Christmas calendar and Sveriges Radio's Christmas Calendar in 1969. The screenplay was written by Tage Danielsson. Plot The series is set in a Stockholm suburb where a family, consisting of the mother, the father and their son reside. The mother knows the magical phrase ''"Överliggande kramaxel å kalasvev å bubbla förknasare"'' (made up of humorously altered names of several car parts), allowing the father Herkules and the son, Bara Johnsson, to switch places with each other; the father to become the son and vice verse. Every series consists of 24 episodes (with a few exceptions), broadcast daily 1–24 December. The theme for most series have some connection to Christmas. ''Sveriges Radio's Christmas Calendar'' ( sv, Sveriges Radios julkalender) is an annual series of pre-Christmas children's programmes produced and broadcast by Sveriges Radio in the form of a radio advent calendar. Tage Danielsson
Tage Danielsson (; 5 February 1928 – 13 October 1985) was a Swedish author, actor, comedian, poet and film director. He is best known for his collaboration with Hans Alfredson in the comedy duo Hasse & Tage. Career After graduation from Katedralskolan in Linköping, Danielsson matriculated at the University of Uppsala in 1949. There he got involved in student theatre of Östgöta Nation and became a member of the Juvenalorden, as well as serving as vice president of the Uppsala Student Union. After graduation, Tage Danielsson found work at ''Sveriges Radio'' in 1955. From 1959 to 1962 he was the manager for its entertainment department. At his work he came in contact with Hans Alfredson. They started the entertainment production company ''AB Svenska Ord'' (Swedish Words Ltd) together in 1961. SVT Play
SVT Play is the brand used for the video on demand service offered by Sveriges Television, more specifically to the streaming services offered on the SVT website, svt.se, and its counterpart for mobile phones. The brand was introduced in December 2006, when the existing streaming television service got a new name. In September 2007, SVT launched their own channel on YouTube. From late 2007 until end of 2008 SVT Play was also available as a channel on Joost. SVT claims that the service offers more than 2,000 hours of television. Most programmes produced for or by SVT are published on SVT Play after they have been broadcast and are then available for 30 days.
