Henry Bucher
Henry Bertram Bucher (February 9, 1864 – October 29, 1944) was a Norwegian architect. After studying under Ludvig Haslund and August Tidemand, Bucher studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Christiania and then at the Technical University of Berlin. He established a practice in Christiania in 1887 and designed a number of residential buildings there, especially on the west side, as well as detached homes in what was still the separate municipality of Aker at the time. He also did work in Stavanger, Bergen, Fredrikstad, and Voss, and created a number of churches. He designed the West Norway Museum of Decorative Art in the Renaissance Revival style. His buildings often have a monumental character and draw inspiration from various styles (historicism). Like many architects, he also designed his own home, which he named Primavera. Oslo

Kapp Church
Kapp Church ( no, Kapp kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Østre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kapp. It is the church for the Kapp parish which is part of the Toten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1939 using plans drawn up by the architect Henry Bucher. The church seats about 167 people. History Planning for a new church in Kapp began during the 1930s. Henry Bucher was hired to design the new church. Construction began in the spring of 1937, led by carpenter Karl Johnsen Kjæsarud. Johan Mortensen performed the plumbing work, Asbjørn Moe did painting work, and Per Johnsen was responsible for electrical installations. The new building was consecrated on 14 May 1939. Raufoss Church ( no, Raufoss kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the town of Raufoss. It is the church for the Raufoss parish which is part of the Toten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, stone church was built in a long church design in 1939 using plans drawn up by the architect Henry Bucher. The church seats about 450 people. History The village of Raufoss grew up during the 19th century around some large industries. A cemetery was consecrated in Raufoss on 5 February 1897. A year later, a small burial chapel was built, just behind where the church now stands. It was a building with a high tower. Harald Sund
Harald Thorbjørn Sund (February 16, 1876 – April 9, 1940) was a Norwegian architect, artist and illustrator. Architectural career Sund was born at Sund in the parish of Gildeskål in Nordland, Norway. Sund studied architectural engineering at Trondheim Technical College (''Trondhjems Tekniske Læreanstalt''), graduating in 1897. He studied architecture while traveling through Italy, Belgium and France. He followed with 16 years of study and work in England. August Nielsen
August Bendix Christofer Nielsen (7 May 1877 – 21 February 1956) was a Norwegian architect. August Nielsen was born in the village of Vik at Sømna in Nordland, Norway. He was a son of politician Sivert Nielsen (1823–1904) and Jonethe Cornelia Falck Heide (1833–1927). He received the name Bendix from his maternal grandfather. In 1910 he married physician's daughter Ella Hassel, who was a sister of Odd Hassel. Nielsen attended Trondheim Technical College (now Norwegian University of Science and Technology) from 1893 to 1897, and spent the next years as an assistant of architects including Bredo Greve as well as Andreas Bugge, Heinrich Jürgensen and Ingvar Hjorth. Ås Church ( no, Ås kirke or historically, ) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Bøverbru. It is the church for the Ås parish which is part of the Toten prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, stone church was built in a cruciform design in 1921 using plans drawn up by the architect Henry Bucher. The church seats about 500 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1337, but the church was not built that year. The first church in Ås was a wooden stave church that was likely built during the 13th century. According to an inscription on a wooden plate on the back of the altarpiece, the church must have been closed down and deserted from around 1570 until around 1665.
