Henrique Neto
Henrique José de Sousa Neto (born 27 April 1936, in Lisbon) is a Portuguese entrepreneur, industrialist and former member of the Portuguese parliament for the Socialist Party. He founded the company Iberomoldes in 1975 and became one of the most noted businesspersons in the Portuguese engineering-related industry. Henrique Neto was the first candidate to step up for the 2016 Portuguese presidential election. Early life Born in Lisbon on April 27, 1936, Neto studied at first in the Lisbon Industrial School and then at the Commercial School of Marinha Grande, a town from where his family had come from to Lisbon and where he moved at age 14. Order Of Prince Henry
The Order of Prince Henry ( pt, Ordem do Infante Dom Henrique) is a Portuguese order of knighthood created on 2 June 1960, to commemorate the quincentenary of the death of the Portuguese prince Henry the Navigator, one of the main initiators of the Age of Discovery. Minor reforms of the constitution of the Order occurred in 1962 and 1980. It is a five-tier order, whose titles are awarded for relevant services to Portugal and for services in the expansion of the Portuguese culture, its history and its values (with a particular focus on its maritime history). Pombal Municipality
Pombal () is a city and a municipality located in the Leiria District in the sub region of Pinhal Litoral in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 55,217, in an area of 626.00 km2. The population of the city of Pombal proper is about 18,000 inhabitants. The municipality is served by a railway station which is part of the Linha do Norte, the main Portuguese railway line that connects its two largest cities, Lisbon and Porto. Leiria
Leiria (; cel-x-proto, ɸlāryo) is a city and municipality in the Central Region of Portugal. It is the 2nd largest city in that same region, with a municipality population of 128,640 (as of 2021) in an area of . It is the seat of its own district and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Leiria-Fátima. The city is part of the historical province of Beira Litoral. 2022 Portuguese Legislative Election
Early legislative elections were held on 30 January 2022 in Portugal to elect members of the Assembly of the Republic to the 15th Legislature of the Third Portuguese Republic. All 230 seats to the Assembly of the Republic were up for election. On 27 October 2021, the budget proposed by the Socialist minority government was rejected by the Assembly of the Republic. The Left Bloc (BE) and the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), both of whom had previously supported the government, joined the centre-right to right-wing opposition parties and rejected the budget. On 4 November 2021, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the president of Portugal, announced a snap election to be held on 30 January 2022. The Social Democratic Party ( pt, Partido Social Democrata, ; PSD) is a liberal-conservative political party in Portugal. Jorge Fernando Branco de Sampaio (; 18 September 1939 – 10 September 2021) was a Portuguese lawyer and politician who was the 18th president of Portugal from 1996 to 2006.
