Henrik Qvortrup
Henrik Qvortrup (born 13 October 1963) is a Danish journalist, political commentator, and previous editor-in-chief of the weekly Danish tabloid magazine ''Se og Hør''. In the 2014 ''Se og Hør'' media scandal, Henrik Qvortrup was sentenced to three months' unconditional imprisonment, one year's conditional imprisonment and 200 hours of community service. In May 2021, he was named the new editor-in-chief of ''Ekstra Bladet'' a Danish daily tabloid, taking over in July. Se Og Hør (Denmark)
''Se og Hør'' (; "See and Hear") is a TV guide and celebrity journalism magazine published in three independent versions in Denmark, Norway and Sweden (where it is called ''Se & Hör'' ) by the Danish company Aller Media. The 2014 ''Se og Hør'' media scandal (Danish language, Danish: ''Se og Hør''-sagen), also known as the Nets-scandal (Danish language, Danish: Nets-skandalen) or the hush-hush scandal (Danish language, Danish: tys-tys-skandalen), was a media and IT surveillance scandal in Denmark that broke in 2014. Tabloid Journalism
Tabloid journalism is a popular style of largely sensationalist journalism (usually dramatized and sometimes unverifiable or even blatantly false), which takes its name from the tabloid newspaper format: a small-sized newspaper also known as half broadsheet. TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark.
