Henrik Nyström
Henrik Nyström (born 23 April 1969) is a Swedish professional golfer. Career Nyström played college golf for Lynn University in the United States. He won the 1994 individual NAIA Men's Golf Championship. Nyström turned professional in 1994. He spent his early career on the Challenge Tour, before reaching the top-level European Tour for the first time via qualifying school in 1997. He remained on the tour until 2003, despite having to return to qualifying school for his first two seasons. However after a poor 2003 season Nyström returned to the Challenge Tour, where a consistent season including eight top-ten finishes would propel him to ninth place in the season-end rankings and a European Tour return. He maintained his card via qualifying school in 2005 and 2006, automatically in 2007 and again via qualifying school - for a sixth time - in 2008. KLM Dutch Open
The Dutch Open is an annual golf tournament played in the Netherlands, and has been part of the European Tour's schedule since the Tour was inaugurated in 1972. History and sponsorship Founded in 1912, the tournament began as the Dutch Open, before a variety of sponsors resulted in numerous name changes over the years. KLM was the longest title sponsor; lasting from 1981 to 1990, and from 2004 to 2020. The tournament has been moved around the golfing calendar, but since 2010 it has been held in early September. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format 1959–1965 Each team consisted of a minimum of six players, playing two rounds of stroke play, counting the four best scores for each team. The four best teams formed flight A, were the winner was determined by a round-robin system. The 1993 European Amateur Team Championship took place 30 June – 4 July at Golf Club Mariánské Lázně, later renamed Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně, 6 kilometres from the Mariánské Lázně town (called Marienbad in German) in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It was the 18th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The hosting Golf Club Mariánské Lázně was later renamed Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně.
