Henrik Harboe
Henrik Harboe (1784–1848) was a Norwegian civil servant and government official. He served as the County Governor of Nedenæs county from 1837 until 1848. Harboe received his Cand.jur. degree in 1803. Later that same year he was an auditor in the Norwegian Artillery Brigade, with the title Chief Auditor. Kunnskapsforlaget () is a Norwegian publishing company based in Oslo. Kunnskapsforlaget was established in 1975, as a partnership between H. Aschehoug & Co. (W. Nygaard) and Gyldendal Norsk Forlag. The purpose was to co-operate on publishing encyclopaedias and dictionaries. The first volume of Store norske leksikon (SNL) was published in 1978. A total of four editions was published (the last one in 2004), before the online version was transferred to Institusjonen Fritt Ord og Sparebankstiftelsen DnB in 2011. Kunnskapsforlaget is the largest dictionary publisher in Norway. They publish both printed books, and digital dictionaries that are available through the online service Ordnett (launched in 2004). Iver Steen Thomle
Iver Steen Thomle (1 March 1812, in Froland – 16 September 1889, in Kristiania) was Norwegian jurist. He was the son of Erich Andreas Thomle and his wife Mette Maria, née Binneballe. His brother was politician and jurist August Thomle. In 1838 Iver Steen Thomle married Augusta Sophie Smith. She died shortly after, but Thomle married Juliane Marie Heyerdahl in 1845. Thomle graduated from the University of Christiania in 1833. He held jobs in the lawyer's office of Frederik Stang and later the Ministry of Justice. In 1849 he became County Governor of Nedenes (today: Aust-Agder), a post he held until 1860. Ulrik Frederik Anton de Schouboe (1782–1863) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician. He served as the County Governor of Stavanger, Lister og Mandal, and Nedenes counties during his career. Schouboe was the son of the Governor Christian de Schouboe and Anna Magdalene Müller, and he was also the brother of Oluf Borch de Schouboe. He became a student in 1801 and he received his cand. jur. Buskerud
Buskerud () is a former county and a current electoral district in Norway, bordering Akershus, Oslo, Oppland, Sogn og Fjordane, Hordaland, Telemark and Vestfold. The region extends from the Oslofjord and Drammensfjorden in the southeast to Hardangervidda mountain range in the northwest. The county administration was in modern times located in Drammen. Buskerud was merged with Akershus and Østfold into the newly created Viken County on 1 January 2020. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' ( no, Store Norske Leksikon, abbreviated ''SNL''), is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. The online encyclopedia is among the most-read Norwegian published sites, with more than two million unique visitors per month. Arendal () is a city in Agder county, Norway. The city is the administrative centre of the municipality of Arendal and the seat of the County Governor of Agder. Aust-Agder (, en, "East Agder") was a county (''fylke'') in Norway until 1 January 2020, when it was merged with Vest-Agder to form Agder county. ''state administrator'' in English) is a Norwegian government agency that represents the central government administration in every county in Norway.
