Henri Lafont (born Henri Chamberlin, 22 April 1902 – 26 December 1944) was a French criminal based in Paris who headed the French Gestapo during the Nazi German occupation in World War II. He was executed by firing squad on 26 December 1944 alongside corrupt policeman Pierre Bonny and footballer-turned-criminal Alexandre Villaplane. Georges Delfanne, called Christian Masuy (22 January 1913 – 1 October 1947) was a Belgian collaborator and spy during the German occupation in World War II. Early life He was born January 22, 1913, in Brussels. Prior to the war, Delfanne was a far-right Rexist militant and gained the confidence of Léon Degrelle (later a general in the Waffen SS). The (), abbreviated Gestapo (; ), was the official secret police of Nazi Germany and in German-occupied Europe. The force was created by Hermann Göring in 1933 by combining the various political police agencies of Prussia into one organisation. The ''Milice française'' (French Militia), generally called ''la Milice'' (literally ''the militia'') (), was a political paramilitary organization created on 30 January 1943 by the Vichy France, Vichy regime (with Nazi Germany, German aid) to help fight against the French Resistance during World War II. The Milice's formal head was Prime Minister Pierre Laval, although its Chief of operations and ''de facto'' leader was Secretary General Joseph Darnand. Rudy de Mérode, real name Frédéric Martin (1905 in Silly-sur-Nied, Moselle (department), Moselle – ?, probably in Spain) was a French Collaboration with the Axis powers, collaborator during the German military administration in occupied France during World War II, German occupation of France in the Second World War. Life Originating in Luxemburg, his family emigrated to France and were naturalised as French citizens in the 1920s. He studied engineering in Strasbourg and then in Germany, where he was recruited by the Abwehr in 1928. In 1934 he participated in building works on the Maginot Line and passed on the plans (to which he had access) to the German intelligence services. Unmasked as a spy in 1935, he was condemned in 1936 to 10 years in jail (which he served at Clairvaux Prison) and 20 years' exile from France. Alexandre Villaplane
Alexandre Villaplane (24 December 1904 – 27 December 1944) was a French football player who played as a midfielder. He played for France at the 1928 Summer Olympics and captained the national team at the 1930 FIFA World Cup. Villaplane was also a Nazi collaborator who was arrested and executed for his actions during World War II. Football career In his career he played for Sète (1921–1924), Nîmes (1927–1929), Racing Club de France (1929–1932), Antibes (1932–1933) and Nice (1933–1934). He was capped 25 times for the France national team and was the captain of the French side which went to the 1930 FIFA World Cup.
