Henri Hitier
Henri Hitier (16 June 1864 – 1 April 1958) was a French agronomist. Family Henri-Joseph-Robert Hitier was born in Revelles, Somme, on 16 June 1864. His parents were Joseph Hitier, Consul-General of France in China, and Augustine Vauchelet (1832–1914). His brother was Joseph Hitier (born in 1865). Joseph became an assistant professor of law at the University of Grenoble and later Professor of Rural Economics at the National Agronomic Institute. Both were also involved in running the family-owned form in Revelles and a pasturage in Bray-lès-Mareuil. Henri married Thérèse Delepouve. They had several children including Jeanne Hitier (1895–1985), who married Adalbert de Chassepot de Pissy (1876–1952). The Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon (INA P-G) was a French university-level institution of grande école-type. It offered master's degree in agricultural- and life sciences. It was created in 1971 by merging the ''Institut national agronomique'' (Paris) and the ''École nationale supérieure d'Agronomie de Grignon'', thus having a history that goes back to 1826. Henri Hauser
Henri Hauser (19 July 1866 – 27 May 1946) was a French historian, geographer, and economist. A pioneer in the study of the economic history of the early modern period, he also wrote on contemporary economic issues and held the first chair in economic history to be established at a French university.Boer, Pim den (2014)''History as a Profession: The Study of History in France, 1818-1914'' pp. 275; 278. Paul De Rousiers
Paul de Rousiers (16 January 1857 – 28 March 1934) was a French social economist and industrial lobbyist. He was a follower of Pierre Guillaume Frédéric le Play, and believed in industrial syndicates that would be independent of both workers and owners, and would be dedicated to the progress of their industries. He undertook studies of society and economic organization in the United States, Britain and Germany, where he visited the rural areas, towns, cities, farms, mines and factories, and spoke to workers, owners, politicians and intellectuals to gain an understanding of the interplay of social and economic forces. His work gained him considerable respect. In 1903 Paul de Rousiers became secretary-general of the French shipowners' association, a position he held for most of the rest of his life.
