County Of Henneberg
The House of Henneberg was a medieval German Graf, comital family (''Grafen'') which from the 11th century onwards held large territories in the Duchy of Franconia. Their county was raised to a Princes of the Holy Roman Empire, princely county (''Gefürstete Grafschaft'') in 1310. Upon the extinction of the line in the late 16th century, most of the territory was inherited by the Saxon House of Wettin and subsequently incorporated into the Thuringian estates of its Ernestine duchies, Ernestine branch. Origins The distant origins of this family are speculative yet seem to originate in the Middle Rhine Valley, east of modern-day France. Career Born in Vienna, Henneberg was Kapellmeister from 1790 to 1801 at the Theater auf der Wieden, then until 1803 at the Theater an der Wien. Later he was employed as an organist by the prince Nikolaus II, Prince Esterházy in Eisenstadt, where he also conducted opera performances. From 1814, Henneberg was choir master at the Augustinian Church, Vienna, and from 1818 to 1822 organist in the Imperial court orchestra, the Wiener Hofmusikkapelle. Zdzisław Karol Henneberg VM, DFC, KZ***, CdeG (11 May 1911 – 12 April 1941) was a Polish airman who flew with the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain and a flying ace of the Second World War. Early life and career Henneberg was born on 11 May 1914 in Warsaw. He graduated from the VIIIth Polish Air Force and before the war was an instructor at the advanced flight training school. He was stationed as an instructor in Dęblin when the German invasion of Poland commenced, and volunteered for combat flying. After the USSR's invasion of Poland he fled to Romania and then to France, where he trained on the Morane-Saulnier M.S.406. Wilhelm Henneberg (10 September 1825 – 22 November 1890) was a German chemist and student of Justus von Liebig. Life He attended the Collegium Carolinum in Brunswick and studied at the University of Giessen with Justus von Liebig and at the University of Jena where he received his Ph.D in 1849. Richard Henneberg
Karl Vilhelm Albert Richard Henneberg (5 August 1853 – 19 October 1925) was a German composer and conductor. His mother was named Augusta Boltman, and his father, Albert Henneberg, was an opera singer. He was born in Berlin, Germany. He was a student of Rust, had a concert tour in Scandinavia in 1872 and the following year at the age of twenty, became conductor of ''Harmonien'' (later Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra) in Bergen, Norway. After serving in Bergen, he travelled with a German opera company and settled in Stockholm, Sweden, where he became Kapellmeister of a small theater in 1878, the new theater in 1879, and the opera in 1885. His compositions include the opera ''Drottningens vallfart'', the ballet ''Undina'' and music to the plays ''Brand'', ''Lyco-Pers resa'' and ''Diamantbröllopet''.
