A Scottish clan (from Goidelic languages, Gaelic , literally 'children', more broadly 'kindred') is a kinship group among the Scottish people. Clans give a sense of shared identity and descent to members, and in modern times have an official structure recognised by the Court of the Lord Lyon, which regulates Scottish heraldry and coats of arms. Most clans have their own tartan patterns, usually dating from the 19th century, which members may incorporate into kilts or other clothing. Hendry County is a county in the Florida Heartland region of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 39,619, down from 42,022 at the 2010 census. Its county seat is LaBelle. Hendry County comprises the Clewiston, Micropolitan Statistical Area. Joan Hendry
Joan Hendry (born 14 May 1945) was a member of the Canadian 1968 Olympic and 1970 Commonwealth Games team. She also qualified for the 1972 Olympics but could not compete as she was injured. She won two Commonwealth Games bronze medals in long jump and the 4x100 relay and was the only member of Canadian team to win two medals. James Hendry (born July 27, 1955) is an American baseball coach and executive. He is a special assistant for New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, and is a former general manager of the Chicago Cubs. Hendry was promoted to Cubs general manager on July 5, 2002, by former Cubs President/CEO Andy MacPhail. He worked for the Cubs from 1995 to 2011.
