Stephen Gordon Hendry (born 13 January 1969) is a Scottish professional snooker player who dominated the sport during the 1990s, becoming one of the most successful players in its history. After turning professional in 1985 at age 16, Hendry rose rapidly through the snooker world rankings, reaching number four in the world by the end of his third professional season. He won his first World Snooker Championship in 1990 aged 21 years and 106 days, superseding Alex Higgins as the sport's youngest world champion, a record he still holds. Joseph Samuel Hendry (born 1 May 1988) is a Scottish amateur and professional wrestler, currently signed with Impact Wrestling, and is the current Impact Digital Media Champion in his first reign. Hendry is also known for his appearances in his native Scotland with Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), where he was a one-time ICW Tag Team Champion, in England with New Generation Wrestling and Defiant Wrestling (formerly What Culture Pro Wrestling), and in the United States with Impact Wrestling. Sir David Forbes Hendry, FBA CStat (born 6 March 1944) is a British econometrician, currently a professor of economics and from 2001 to 2007 was head of the Economics Department at the University of Oxford. He is also a professorial fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford. He obtained an M.A. in economics with first class honours from the University of Aberdeen in 1966. He then went to the London School of Economics and completed an MSc (with distinction) in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics in 1967. He received his PhD from the London School of Economics under the supervision of John Denis Sargan in 1970, and until joining the University of Oxford as professor of economics in 1982, was a lecturer, then reader and finally professor of economics at the LSE. Hendry County is a county in the Florida Heartland region of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 39,619, down from 42,022 at the 2010 census. Its county seat is LaBelle. Hendry County comprises the Clewiston, Micropolitan Statistical Area. James Hendry (born July 27, 1955) is an American baseball coach and executive. He is a special assistant for New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, and is a former general manager of the Chicago Cubs. Hendry was promoted to Cubs general manager on July 5, 2002, by former Cubs President/CEO Andy MacPhail. He worked for the Cubs from 1995 to 2011. Prior to his promotion to GM, he was named Assistant GM/Player Personnel Director on October 12, 2001, and previously the Director of Player Development, in charge of both Scouting and Minor League Operations. Colin Hendry
Edward Colin James Hendry (born 7 December 1965) is a Scottish football coach and former professional footballer. Hendry, who played as a defender notably played in the Premier League for Blackburn Rovers where he was part of the title winning side of 1995. He also played top flight football in both England and Scotland for Dundee, Manchester City, Rangers and Bolton Wanderers as well as stints in the Football League with Coventry City and Blackpool. Charles Hendry (born 6 May 1959 in Cuckfield, Sussex) is a British Conservative Party politician. Formerly the member of parliament for High Peak between the 1992 and 1997 general elections, he was returned as the MP for Wealden in 2001. Born in Newport-on-Tay he played in the Football League for Bury, Preston North End, Sheffield United, Stoke and West Bromwich Albion.
