Heman Gurung
Heman Gurung ( ne, हेमन गुरुङ; born 27 February 1996) is a Nepalese international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Himalayan Sherpa Club and the Nepal national football team. Early life and career Gurung made headlines in India when, in 2010, he scored 9 goals in a 25–0 victory over the Lakshadweep Government High School for his own school, the Takshashila Academy. He has played for the Himalayan Sherpa Club since at least 2013. International career Gurung has represented Nepal at under-17, under-22 and senior level; making his full debut in a 1–0 loss to Bangladesh in 2015. 2015 SAFF Championship
The 2015 SAFF Championship (officially known as the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organized by SAFF. It was held in India from 23 December 2015 to 3 January 2016. Heading into the tournament, Afghanistan were the defending champions of the tournament, with it also being the last time they can officially take part, as they have become members of the newly formed Central Asian Football Association. Originally scheduled to take place in July 2015, monsoon season and schedule congestion led to the tournament being postponed to late December. The tournament saw no participation from Pakistan, who withdrew from the tournament in November 2015 due a dispute within the nation's football federation. Himalayan Sherpa Club
Himalayan Sherpa Club is a Nepali professional football club based in the city of Kathmandu (originally from Hattigauda), that competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, top flight of Nepali football. They play at the Dasarath Rangasala Stadium. History The club was founded on 25 September 2006 and played their first tournament at the 2007 edition of the Aaha! Gold Cup. According to RSSSF, the club was "promoted from 4th to 2nd level within 2 months". The club were promoted to the ANFA 'A' Division League one year later. Due to financial disagreements between the League Association ANFA and the Nepal Football Association, the 2007/08 season was canceled before the start of the season.
