''Hellsinki'' ( fi, Rööperi) is a 2009 Finnish film directed by Aleksi Mäkelä. The film is based on the novel ''Rööperi – rikoksen vuodet 1955–2005'' by Harri Nykänen and Tom Sjöberg. ''Hellsinki'' follows the journey of two criminals, Tomppa and Krisu, in Punavuori (in slang ''Rööperi''), a neighbourhood in Helsinki, from the mid-1960s to the late 1970s. Peter Franzén
Peter Vilhelm Franzén (born 14 August 1971) is a Finnish actor, author, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for his role as King Harald Finehair in ''Vikings'' (2016–2020). Personal life Franzén was born in Keminmaa, north Finland. Franzén has described his childhood as difficult due to his violent and alcoholic stepfather. Samuli Casimir Edelmann (born 21 July 1968) is a Finnish actor and singer. Family and career Edelmann was born in Pori, Finland, the son of actress Marja-Leena Kouki and composer Toni Edelmann. Markus Selin (born 16 March 1960) is a Finnish television and film producer. Career Selin was born in Vihti. His first feature was conceived in the mid-1980s. At a party in Los Angeles, he was introduced to fellow Finn Renny Harlin. The two collaborated on a script about three Americans vacationing in Finland who cross the border into the Soviet Union. They approached Chuck Norris to star and he initially agreed but later had to pull out after the production was delayed due to financing problems. His son Mike Norris took over the lead.
