Heinz Hopf (actor)
Heinz Willy Gustav Hopf (November 11, 1934 – January 23, 2001) was a Swedish actor. He was born in Stockholm but moved to Lund where he studied at Lund University. He later became a regular actor at the Dramaten theater in Stockholm. ''Fanny and Alexander'' ( sv, Fanny och Alexander) is a 1982 period drama film written and directed by Ingmar Bergman. The plot focuses on two siblings and their large family in Uppsala, Sweden during the first decade of the twentieth century. Following the death of the children's father ( Allan Edwall), their mother ( Ewa Fröling) remarries a prominent bishop ( Jan Malmsjö) who becomes abusive towards Alexander for his vivid imagination. Bergman intended ''Fanny and Alexander'' to be his final picture before retiring, and his script is semi-autobiographical. Lund (, , ) is a city in the southern Swedish province of Scania, across the Öresund strait from Copenhagen. The town had 91,940 inhabitants out of a municipal total of 121,510 . ''The Slingshot'' ( sv, Kådisbellan) is a Swedish drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 24 September 1993, starring Jesper Salén, Stellan Skarsgård and Basia Frydman. Directed by Åke Sandgren, the film was based on Roland Schütt's 1989 autobiographical novel of the same name (translates to ''"The Condom Slingshot"''). Plot Roland (Salén) is the 12-year-old son of a Russian Jewish mother (Frydman) and a socialist father (Skarsgård), coming of age in 1920s Stockholm. Due to his family's background, he has become an outcast to those around him, a constant target of bullying by his peers, and often humiliated and physically punished by a sadistic schoolteacher (Ernst-Hugo Järegård) in front of classmates.
