Heike Meißner
Brigitte Heike Meissner (german: Meißner, born 29 January 1970 in Dresden) is a retired German athlete. She competed mainly in the 400 metres hurdles, but also spent two seasons specializing in the 800 metres. Notable achievements include a silver medal at the 2002 European Championships, medals in 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1994 European Championships and the 1997 World Indoor Championships and a fourth place at the 1995 World Championships. She won the 400 metres hurdles bronze medal at the 1989 European Junior Championships. She also helped win the 4 x 400 m relay with the East German team. Her first World Championships participation came in 1991. Here, she finished seventh in the 400 m hurdles. Anna Mikhaylovna Knoroz (russian: Анна Михайловна Кнороз; née Chuprina; born 30 July 1970) is a retired Russian hurdler who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles. She won a bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the 1994 European Championships, and a gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1991 World Championships (ran in heats only). She also competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. As a junior, she won the silver medal at the 1989 European Junior Championships. Debbie-Ann Parris-Thymes (born 24 March 1973 in Trelawny Parish) is a Jamaican athlete who mainly competes in the 400 metres hurdles event. She finished 4th in the 1996 Summer Olympics. The 4th World Championships in Athletics, under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations, were held in the Neckarstadium, Stuttgart, Germany between 13 and 22 August with the participation of 187 nations.
