Hechos (Facts) is the news program of TV Azteca in Mexico, aired on its Azteca Uno network. ''Hechos'' newscasts air in the morning, at midday and at 9pm on weekdays and weekdays on Saturdays. All three weekday editions of ''Hechos'' beat Televisa's competing newscasts in the ratings in September 2016. History Hechos came to air in February 1994, months after the privatization of Imevisión led to the launch of Azteca as a private broadcaster. Azteca Uno
Azteca Uno (previously Azteca Trece), is a Mexican national broadcast television network owned by TV Azteca, with more than 100 transmitters across the country. Azteca Uno broadcasts on virtual channel 1. Azteca Uno programming is available in Mexico on satellite via Sky and Dish Network, as well as all Mexican cable systems, and some Azteca Uno programming can be seen in the United States on Azteca América. History Establishment of XHDF Azteca Trece took its historic channel number (13) from XHDF-TV, which signed on in 1968 on channel 13. TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. is a Mexican multimedia conglomerate owned by Grupo Salinas. It is the second-largest mass media company in Mexico after Televisa. It primarily competes with Televisa as well as some local operators. Imevisión
The Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión (''Mexican Television Institute''), known commercially as Imevisión after 1985, was a state broadcaster and federal government agency of Mexico. At its height, Imevisión programmed two national networks and additional local stations in Mexico City, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juárez, Guadalajara, Mexicali, Tijuana and Monterrey. As the Mexican government moved toward privatization, and in light of financial sustainability issues, most of Imevisión was sold in 1992 to a group headed by Ricardo Salinas Pliego, which came to be known as Televisión Azteca. Ciudad Obregón
Ciudad Obregón is a city in southern Sonora. It is the state's second largest city after Hermosillo and serves as the municipal seat of Cajeme, as of 2020, the city has a population of 436,484. La Red, is a private television channel in Chile. It began broadcasting on 12 May 1991, as the second private television station in Chile, after Mega.
