"Heavy Weather" is a song by Australian alternative rock group The Rubens. The song was released on 21 April 2020. The song was released as the second single from the group's fourth studio album, ''0202'' (2021). Background The Rubens' keyboardist Elliott Margin, who also wrote the lyrics, explained the meaning of the song during its premiere on Triple J. "Its about going through something difficult ndtelling yourself those clichéd things - 'chin up', 'pick yourself up' - to get through and realising they're cliches because they work... You are able to get out the other side and feel positive about it eventually." He added that the band wrote the song "ages ago, so it's not about what's going on right now but the timing is pretty perfect," referring to the COVID–19 pandemic, which occurred prior to the song's release. ''Jarvis'' (also known as ''The Jarvis Cocker Record'') is the debut solo album by Pulp vocalist and musician Jarvis Cocker, released in the UK on 13 November 2006. Overview Two songs from the album, "Don't Let Him Waste Your Time" and "Baby's Coming Back to Me", were previously released on Nancy Sinatra's self-titled 2004 album. The complete version of the song "The Loss Adjuster" appeared as b-side to " Fat Children" single. Steve Mackey and Mark Webber, fellow band members from Pulp play on this record. ''Heavy Weather'' is the seventh album by Weather Report, released in 1977 through Columbia Records. The release originally sold about 500,000 copies; it would prove to be the band's most commercially successful album. ''Heavy Weather'' received a 5-star review from ''DownBeat'' magazine and went on to be voted jazz album of the year by the readers of that publication. On this album the lineup consisted of Weather Report founders Joe Zawinul (keyboards, synthesizers) and Wayne Shorter (saxophone), alongside Jaco Pastorius (bass), Alex Acuña (drums), and Manolo Badrena (percussion). It was produced and orchestrated by Zawinul, with additional production by Shorter and Pastorius, and engineered by Ron Malo. Featuring the jazz standard " Birdland", the album is one of the best sellers in the Columbia jazz catalog. The Rubens are an Australian alternative rock band from Menangle, New South Wales. The band comprises the three Margin brothers, Zaac, Sam and Elliott, and friends Scott Baldwin and William Zeglis. ''0202'' is the fourth studio album by Australian alternative rock group the Rubens, released on 12 February 2021 by Ivy League Records. The album was announced on 15 October 2020, alongside the release of the video for the album's third single, "Time of My Life". After releasing "Live in Life" in November 2019, the group were looking towards a release date of mid-2020 for the album, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions, progress and the postponed Live in Life Tour from March 2020, the album was delayed. The title ''0202'' refers to a "forward-thinking album for a backward year". In a press statement, the band said "We're so bloody proud of this album and the way we created it, and we can't believe how lucky we are to have made it this far."
