Heather Margaret Payne (born 26 January 2000) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for the Republic of Ireland women's national team and Everton in the Women's Super League. Club career After playing three seasons with Irish side Peamount United F.C. in the Irish Women's National League, Payne signed with Bristol City in the English first division, the FA WSL, in August 2018. In August 2019, after a season with Bristol, Payne moved to the United States to take up a college scholarship with the Florida State Seminoles, who compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament
The 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament was the 40th edition of the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament, a postseason tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I women's college soccer. The College Cup was played on December 3 and December 6. It was originally set to be played in San Jose, California, but was moved to Stevens Stadium due to a conflict with the MLS playoffs schedule. The Florida State Seminoles defeated the BYU Cougars on penalty kicks to win the National Championship. Qualification The tournament returned to 64 teams after only featuring 48 teams in the 2020 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Laugardalsvöllur () is Iceland's national football stadium and the home venue for the Iceland national football team. It is in Reykjavík with a capacity of 9,800. History The idea of building a sport venue in Laugardalur, along with some other entertainment facilities, dates back to 1871. At that time, the population of Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, was only about 2,000. Laugardalur was also nearly 3 km (1.9 mi) away from residential areas.
