Heather Lewis (racewalker)
Heather Warner (née Lewis, born 25 October 1993) is a Welsh racewalker. In 2023, she became the British champion in the 5000 metres race walk. Career As Heather Lewis she represented Wales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the 10,000 metres walk event, recording a personal best 45:09.19, in a fitth place finish. After getting married she competed as Heather Warner and became the British champion after winning the 5,000 metres walk event at the 2023 British Athletics Championships, held in Manchester. She had previously won the title at the 2014 British Athletics Championships The 2014 British Athletics Championships was the national championship in outdoor track and field for athletes in the United Kingdom, held 27–29 June 2014 at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Haverfordwest (, ; cy, Hwlffordd ) is the county town of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and the most populous urban area in Pembrokeshire with a population of 14,596 in 2011. Welsh Athletics
Welsh Athletics (WA; cy, Athletau Cymru) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Wales. It was set up as a limited company in 2007, replacing the former Athletic Association of Wales. Welsh Athletics is part of UK Athletics, the national governing body for the sport in the United Kingdom. Welsh Athletics currently has more than 100 affiliated clubs, and more than 11,000 athletes take part in WA competitions. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills.
