Heath Rugby Club is an English rugby union club based in Greetland, near Halifax, West Yorkshire. The first XV team plays in Regional 1 North East, having been promoted into tier five following the league restructuring at the end of the 2021-22 season. This was the club's second promotion in three seasons, after finishing runners-up in two consecutive seasons in Yorkshire 1, obtaining promotion as the best ranked runner-up. Yorkshire Rugby Football Union
The Yorkshire Rugby Football Union is the governing body responsible for rugby union in the historic county of Yorkshire, England. It is one of the constituent bodies of the national Rugby Football Union having formed in 1869, the union was formerly called Yorkshire County Club. The county has won the county championship on 15 occasions, and finished as runners-up on a further eight occasions. The Yorkshire RFU also organises the Yorkshire Cup, which was inaugurated in 1878. Halifax, West Yorkshire
Halifax () is a minster and market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. It is the commercial, cultural and administrative centre of the borough, and the headquarters of Calderdale Council. West Yorkshire is a metropolitan and ceremonial county in the Yorkshire and Humber Region of England. Greetland
Greetland is a small village in the metropolitan borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. The appropriate Calderdale Ward is called Greetland and Stainland. The population of this ward at the 2011 Census was 11,389. It is located west of Elland and south of Halifax. Yorkshire Division One is an English rugby union division, the seventh tier of the domestic competition, and the top level for local rugby union in parts of Yorkshire. The champions are automatically promoted to North 1 East, a division with a wider geographical area that also encompasses northeast England.
