Hearts Of Hate
''Hearts of Hate'' is a 1995 Canadian television documentary film about the Canadian White Supremacist movement of the early to mid-1990s. Synopsis The 51-minute film profiles the four most active groups in Canada at the time; Heritage Front, Aryan Nations, Church of the Creator and Canadian Liberty Net. Summary Directed and produced by Peter Raymont, the film primarily studies the involvement of young Canadians in the activities of these groups, which were making frequent headlines at the time in Canada. The documentary was intended for in-classroom viewing, though it aired nationally on CTV. Interviews in the documentary include Wolfgang Droege, deceased leader of the Heritage Front, George Burdi, former lead singer of RaHoWa and Alicia Reckzin, a former member of the Anti-Racist Action. Peter Raymont
Peter Raymont (born February 28, 1950) is a Canadian filmmaker and producer and the president of White Pine Pictures, an independent film, television and new media production company based in Toronto. Among his films are ''Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Romeo Dallaire'' (2005), ''A Promise to the Dead: The Exile Journey of Ariel Dorfman'' (2007), ''The World Stopped Watching'' (2003) and ''The World Is Watching'' (1988). The 2011 feature documentary ''West Wind: The Vision of Tom Thomson'' and 2009's ''Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould'' were co-directed with Michèle Hozer. Education Raymont attended Crighton Street School, Rockcliffe Park Public School and Lisgar Collegiate in Ottawa. He graduated from Trinity College School in Port Hope in 1968. Scarborough (; 2021 Canadian census, 2021 Census 629,941) is a district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated atop the Scarborough Bluffs in the eastern part of the city. Yorkton Film Festival
Yorkton Film Festival (YFF) is an annual film festival held in late May in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1947, the Yorkton Film Council (YFC) was founded and in 1950 the first international documentary film festival officially opened in western Canada on 11 October. The festival originally was named Yorkton International Documentary Film Festival and latter become known as Yorkton International Film Festival. In 1969, the Yorkton Film Council disbanded and the Yorkton International Film Festival Society was formed. The film festival went through several name changes and currently operates as Yorkton Film Festival. It is known as the longest running film festival held in North America.
