Dominik Hašek (, ; born January 29, 1965) is a Czech former ice hockey goaltender who mostly played for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Widely regarded as one of the best goaltenders of all time, Hašek also played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and the Ottawa Senators in his 16-season National Hockey League (NHL) career, before finishing his career in Europe. During his years in Buffalo, he became one of the league's finest goaltenders, earning him the nickname "The Dominator". His strong play has been credited with establishing European goaltenders in a league previously dominated by North Americans. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, both with the Red Wings. Jaroslav Hašek (; 1883–1923) was a Czech writer, humorist, satirist, journalist, bohemian and anarchist. He is best known for his novel '' The Fate of the Good Soldier Švejk during the World War'', an unfinished collection of farcical incidents about a soldier in World War I and a satire on the ineptitude of authority figures. The novel has been translated into about 60 languages, making it the most translated novel in Czech literature. Life Jaroslav Hašek's paternal ancestors were farmers rooted in Mydlovary in South Bohemia. Hašek's grandfather from his father's side, František Hašek, was a member of the Czech Landtag and later also the so-called Kromeriz convention. Ivan Hašek (born 6 September 1963) is a Czech professional football coach and former player. Hašek played as a central midfielder, and spent 11 years of his career with Sparta Prague, appearing in more than 300 official games with the club, and later acting as its manager. Hašek represented Czechoslovakia at the 1990 World Cup, and was also president of the Football Association of the Czech Republic. Playing career Hašek was born in Městec Králové. During his 21-year career, he represented AC Sparta Prague (two spells), RC Strasbourg, Sanfrecce Hiroshima and JEF United Ichihara. Martin Hašek (born 3 October 1995) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek Super League 2 club Makedonikos. Career He made his senior league debut for Pardubice on 2 August 2014 in a Czech National Football League 1–1 home draw against Vlašim. He scored his first goal on 13 November in a 1–0 home win against Frýdek-Místek. In July 2017, he moved to Bohemians 1905 after being there on loan the last season. Sparta secured a buy-back option. Michal Hašek
Michal Hašek (born 17 April 1976) is a Czech Republic, Czech politician and former Governor of South Moravian Region. From 2002 until 2014, Hašek was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, Chamber of Deputies (MP). He also served as shadow Minister of Agriculture in the shadow cabinet of former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek. Career Hašek is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University. He also has a juris degree, though its validity has been called into question as it was obtained at an obscure law school in the southwestern Slovakian town of Sládkovičovo. Martin Hašek (born 11 October 1969 in Pardubice) is a former Czech football midfielder and current football coach. Football career During his extensive playing career, Hašek played professionally for SKP Union Cheb, FC Slovan Liberec, Sparta Prague, FK Austria Wien, SK Sturm Graz, FC Dynamo Moscow, 1. FK Příbram and FC Přední Kopanina, retiring at almost 38. In 1997, in his first spell at Sparta, he teamed up with namesake Ivan, his cousin. Hašek gained 14 caps for the Czech Republic. Immediately after retiring, he took up coaching, first as an assistant to Sparta. After a brief head spell with lowly FK Baník Sokolov, he returned to his main club in the same capacity, now under legendary Jozef Chovanec. Eliska Haskova Coolidge or Eliska Hasek Coolidge (born Eliška Hašková; March 26, 1941) became Staff Assistant in the Kennedy White House in 1963. In 1964 she was asked by President Johnson to set up the Office of Presidential Messages of which she served as Director and Special Assistant to the President until 1981.
