Hayden Sargis
Hayden Sargis (born May 2, 2002) is an American professional Association football, soccer player who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Major League Soccer club D.C. United. Early career Sargis was born in Carson City, Nevada, Carson City, Nevada and is Assyrian people, Assyrian. Sargis began his career as part of the Sacramento Republic FC, Sacramento Republic youth academy in 2015. While with the academy, Sargis also spent time training at the Barcelona US-based academy in Arizona. He then made his first appearance on the bench for the Sacramento Republic first team on August 7, 2019 against Las Vegas Lights FC, Las Vegas Lights. Club career On January 15, 2020, it was announced that Sargis, alongside academy teammate Mario Penagos, had signed a professional contract with the Sacramento Republic in the USL Championship. Carson City, Nevada
Carson City is an independent city and the capital of the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2020 census, the population was 58,639, making it the sixth largest city in Nevada. 2023 Loudoun United FC Season
The 2023 season was Loudoun United FC's fifth season of existence, their fifth in the second-division of American soccer, and their fifth in the USL Championship. The club had originally planned to begin the season playing in MLS Next Pro, the reserve league for Major League Soccer, however due to a legal agreement for leasing Segra Field, United is required to play in the second division, requiring the club to remain in USL Championship. On February 2, 2023, Loudoun United FC was sold to Attain Sports and Entertainment, which owns minor league baseball teams Bowie Baysox and Frederick Keys. D.C. The 2022 Loudoun United FC season was Loudoun United FC's fourth season of existence, their fourth in the second-division of American soccer, and their fourth in the USL Championship. The 2022 marked an improvement in United's overall record, winning twice as many matches as last season. Despite this, the club still finished with a losing record, and failed to qualify for the playoffs for their fourth consecutive season. Notable offseason pickups included Tyler Freeman, who lead Loudoun in goals during the season. Other major pickups included Rio Hope-Gund, Carson Vom Steeg, and Skage Simonsen. Loudoun United FC is an American professional soccer team based in Leesburg, Virginia. The team was founded in 2018 as the reserve team of D.C. United and made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019. History On July 18, 2018, the team was officially announced by USL and D.C. United as were the team's name, colors and crest.
