"Have You Ever Been (To Electric Ladyland)" is a song by English-American rock band the Jimi Hendrix Experience, featured on their 1968 third album ''Electric Ladyland''. Recording and production The master recording of the song was produced at the Record Plant studio in New York City in May or June 1968, with Hendrix providing the guitar, bass and vocal tracks, and Mitch Mitchell on drums and tambourine. Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
