Hatton Promotions
Hatton Promotions is a promotional company headed by former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton with Richard Poxon as Director of Boxing. Starting up On 4 February 2009, Hatton Promotions was officially launched at a press conference in which Ricky Hatton's fight with Manny Pacquiao was also announced. The company is based in Hyde, Manchester and comprises a state of the art fitness suite, a large boxing gym with two full-size rings and offices. In July 2009 having staged only four boxing events Hatton Promotions signed a deal with Sky to broadcast eight shows. Hatton said at the time: "Sky have been fantastic to us in handing us eight dates so early and we want to pay them back for their support by improving in everything we do". Ricky Hatton
Richard John Hatton (born 6 October 1978) is a British former professional boxer who competed between 1997 and 2012, and has since worked as a boxing promoter and trainer. During his boxing career he held multiple world championships at light-welterweight and one at welterweight. BoxRec ranks Hatton as the 11th greatest European fighter of all time and 5th greatest British fighter of all time, pound for pound. Gary Buckland
Gary Buckland (born 12 June 1986) is a Welsh former professional boxer who competed from 2005 to 2016. He held the British super featherweight title from 2011 to 2013. He also challenged for the British and EBU European lightweight titles in 2010; the British super featherweight title in 2013; and the Commonwealth lightweight title in 2014. Hayemaker Promotions is a promotional company operated by former WBA heavyweight and undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye. The company held their first boxing promotional event in Sheffield on 20 September 2008. Starting Up On establishing the company, David Haye drew comparisons with Golden Boy Promotions when he said; "Golden Boy have taken over from Don King and Bob Arum and they've done it by empowering the fighters, putting control back in their hands and giving them the lion's share". Adam Little
Adam Little (1 September 1919 – 12 June 2008) was a Scottish football player who played during the 1940s and 1950s for Rangers and Morton. Little was also a fully qualified doctor. Career Little was born in Blantyre and educated at Rutherglen Academy. It was while playing for the school team that he was scouted by then Rangers manager Bill Struth and the next day signed for the club aged 17. Struth decided to loan Little out to play for Blantyre Victoria to get much needed experience. He returned to Rangers and played six first-team games after the Second World War. Richard Towers (Born Richard Hayles on 8 August 1979) is a British former heavyweight professional boxer. In 2012, Towers won the EBU-EU (European Union) heavyweight title. Imprisonment Richard Towers (then known as Hayles) was imprisoned for 13 years after being part of a gang which inflicted three days of agony on a man who was held at gunpoint, and tortured with a steam iron, hammer and stun gun.
