Hato Rey Norte, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Hato Rey Norte is one of the 18 barrios of the municipality of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hato Rey Norte was part of the former municipality of Rio Piedras, before it was merged with the municipality of San Juan in 1951. It is bounded by Hato Rey Central to the east, the districts of Gobernador Piñero and Hato Rey Sur to the south, and by Santurce to the north. The Caño Martín Peña separates Hato Rey Norte from Santurce. Demographics The population of this barrio is of 16,378 residents with a population density of 4,640 residents per square mile. Domenech Station
Domenech is a rapid transit station in San Juan, Puerto Rico, located in the Hato Rey Central district close to the Milla de Oro financial district. Roberto Clemente Coliseum
Roberto Clemente Coliseum (Spanish: ''Coliseo Roberto Clemente'') is a sports and concert arena located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was, for many years, Puerto Rico's largest indoor event facility, and remains one of the largest. General information The Coliseum is named after baseball hall of famer Roberto Clemente, who died in a plane crash off Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Carolina in 1972, while flying with relief articles to be given to victims of the Nicaragua earthquake. Plaza Las Américas is a shopping mall in Hato Rey, San Juan, Puerto Rico, located at the intersection of Routes 18 and 22. The Martín Peña Channel (Spanish: ''Caño de Martín Peña'') is a body of water in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The similarly named Martín Peña (Hato Rey), Martín Peña is a neighbourhood, with informal housing, adjacent to the channel. The channel runs from San Juan Bay in the west to Laguna San José (Puerto Rico), Laguna San José and Laguna Los Corozos in the east.
