Hassan Khan (cricketer)
Hassan Khan (born 16 October 1998) is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his List A debut on 21 April 2016 for Sindh in the 2016 Pakistan Cup. Prior to his debut, he was named in Pakistan's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his Twenty20 debut for Quetta Gladiators on 10 February 2017 in the 2017 Pakistan Super League. He made his first-class debut for Karachi Whites in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 3 October 2017. In December 2017, he was named as the captain of Pakistan's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In April 2018, he was named in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's squad for the 2018 Pakistan Cup. Karachi cricket teams competed in the Pakistani first-class cricket tournaments the Patron's Trophy and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy from 1953-54 to 2018-19. Beginning with the 2019-20 season, the city of Karachi has been represented in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy by the Sindh cricket team. Teams Owing to the strength of cricket in Karachi, from the 1956–57 season the Karachi City Cricket Association has usually fielded two, sometimes three, first-class teams. (Lahore has done the same from the 1957–58 season.) The names of the teams have varied. The Global T20 Canada is a 20-over cricket tournament played in Canada. The first edition of the tournament took place during June and July 2018 with six teams competing. Each team featured four local Canadian cricketers in each squad, along with international players. The inaugural tournament in 2018 took place at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario, while the 2019 tournament took place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Bombay Sports Limited are the owners of the league, and also the organizers of the Euro T20 Slam that was set to begin on August 30, 2019. The 2018 Global T20 Canada (also known as Canada Dry Global T20 Canada for sponsorship reasons) of the Global T20 Canada, was a 20-over cricket cricket tournament played in Canada. It was the first edition of the tournament and ran from 28 June to 15 July 2018. Six teams took part, with all the matches played at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario. A player draft took place on 3 June 2018. Approximately 1,600 players registered for the draft, with 600 of those from Canada. 2018 Pakistan Cup
The 2018 Pakistan Cup was the third edition of the Pakistan Cup, a List A cricket competition which was contested between five teams. It was held from 25 April to 6 May 2018, with all the matches played at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Federal Areas were the defending champions. Federal Areas were the first team to advance to the final, after they beat Punjab by 7 wickets. They were joined in the final with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the last group stage match, between Punjab and Sindh, finished as a tie. Federal Areas won the tournament, beating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by five wickets in the final. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket tournaments, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cricket Association. History Before 2019 As the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), the team played its inaugural season in the Ranji Trophy in 1937. After the independence of Pakistan, NWFP competed in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy sporadically from 1953-54 to 1978-79, and in the Pentangular Cup and Pakistan Cup. In 2010, the province was renamed "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" and the team name changed accordingly.
