Korangi District
Korangi District ( ur, ) is one of the seven administrative districts of Karachi last modified in 2013, part of the Karachi Division in Sindh, Pakistan. Map of Karachi Division History The district was a part of District East in Karachi, which was divided in November 2013. The district is diverse include Baloch, Pashtun, Sindhi, Punjabi and other ethnicities. The district suffers from water crisis and contamination issues. Hasrat Mohani
Syed Fazl-ul-Hasan (1 January 1875 – 13 May 1951), known by his pen-name Hasrat Mohani, was an Indian activist, freedom fighter in the Indian independence movement and a noted poet of the Urdu language. He coined the notable slogan ''Inquilab Zindabad'' (translation of "Long live the revolution!") in 1921. Together with Swami Kumaranand, he is regarded as the first person to demand complete independence for India in 1921 at the Ahmedabad Session of Congress. Maghfoor Ahmad Ajazi supported the complete independence motion demanded by Hasrat Mohani. The Muhajir people (also spelled Mahajir and Mohajir) ( ur, , ) are Muslim immigrants of various ethnic groups and regional origins, and their descendants, who migrated from various regions of India after the Partition of India to settle in the newly independent state of Pakistan.
