Hasan Ahmet Sarı
Hasan Ahmet Sarı (born 21 January 1992) is a Turkish footballer who plays as a forward for Bulvarspor in the TFF Third League. He formerly played for the Turkey under-21s. Life and career Early life Sarı was born in Şişli, Istanbul. He moved with his family to the city of Trabzon following the 1999 İzmit earthquake, which caused considerable destruction in the Avcılar district of the city. He was present in the family home in Avcılar at the time of the earthquake. Club He developed through the youth system at Trabzonspor, spending the 2008–09 season on loan to affiliated youth team Trabzonspor A2. He made his Süper Lig debut for Trabzonspor during the following 2009–10 season. Şişli () is one of the 39 districts of Istanbul, Turkey. Tayfun Cora (born 5 December 1983 in Vakfıkebir) is a retired Turkish footballer. Career Tayfun plays for Trabzonspor, where he promoted from youth team. He made the step up to the first team in his teenage years, and is also a regular in the Turkish under-21 team. 2009–10 Süper Lig
The 2009–10 Süper Lig (known as the ''Turkcell Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd season since its establishment. The season commenced on 7 August 2009 with Istanbul B.B. hosting defending champions Beşiktaş at Atatürk Olympic Stadium. The last matches were played on 16 May 2010. Bursaspor won the league beating defending champions Beşiktaş 2–1 at home. They beat second placed Fenerbahçe by just one point after they could only manage a 1–1 home draw against Trabzonspor. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. Trabzonspor U21 is a youth football team from Trabzonspor. The club competes in the U21 Ligi, against other U21 clubs in Turkey. An U21 team is made up of players between the ages of 18 and 20, and it is the last level of amateur play before a footballer reaches professional status in Turkey. Avcılar, Istanbul
Avcılar is a district of Istanbul, Turkey, out of town on the European side of the city, just to the west of the Küçükçekmece inlet of the Sea of Marmara. History The Marmara coast road bridges the mouth of the inlet, always an important route in wartime. Therefore, when preparing the conquest of Istanbul the Ottoman forces were keen to populate the Küçükçekmece area with the Turks, the Turkish presence in the area dates from this period. 1999 İzmit Earthquake
On the 17th of August, 1999 at 3:01 AM local time, a catastrophic magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the Kocaeli Province of Turkey, causing monumental damage and 17,127–18,373 deaths. Named for the quakes proximity to the northeastern city of Izmit, the earthquake is also commonly referred to as the August 17 Earthquake or the 1999 Gölcük Earthquake. The earthquake occurred on 00:01 UTC at a shallow depth of 15 km. A maximum Mercalli intensity of X (''Extreme'') was observed, marking this event as one of the most destructive earthquakes in the history of the region.
