Harve Tibbott
Harve Tibbott (May 27, 1885 – December 31, 1969) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Tibbott was born near Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the school of pharmacy of the University of Pittsburgh in 1906. He was engaged in the retail drug business and as a pharmacist in Ebensburg in 1906. He was treasurer of the William Penn Highway The William Penn Highway was an auto trail that ran from Pittsburgh in west to New York City in the east. 76th United States Congress
The 76th United States Congress was a meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, composed of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. It met in Washington, DC from January 3, 1939, to January 3, 1941, during the seventh and eighth years of Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency. The apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives was based on the Fifteenth Census of the United States in 1930. Both chambers had a Democratic majority - holding a supermajority in the Senate, but a greatly reduced majority in the House, thus losing the supermajority there.
