Harry Touw (7 April 1924 – 14 April 1994) was a Dutch comedian and television actor from The Hague, who rose to national prominence playing the characters Otto Kolkvet and Fred Haché in the satirical comedy shows written and directed by Wim T. Ruud Van Hemert
Ruud van Hemert (29 October 1938 – 5 July 2012) was a Dutch film director known especially for (dark) comedy. In the 1970s he helped produce and direct TV shows on VPRO before starting a career as a film director. Biography Ruud van Hemert was the son of television producer Willy van Hemert, and followed in his father's footsteps, making two television films for the VPRO, ''TV-Eiland'' (1965), and ''Pepijn op wieletjes'' ("a children's film for and about naughty children" conceived by Hans Andreus, followed by a few other children's shows, with Harrie Geelen. A breakthrough was the (stylistically experimental) documentary ''Oranje Vrijstaat'', which had controversial politician Roel van Duijn as a central figure. Gied Jaspars
Gied Jaspars (6 July 1939 – 14 February 1996) was a Dutch television maker who gained prominence in the 1960s and 1970s making progressive and controversial TV shows for the VPRO; he is well known for his collaboration with writer and director Wim T. Schippers. After he left the television and film industry he started a career as a business man; throughout his career he had a great interest in nature, expressed in narrative, meditative reflections in television and radio series which were later bundled as a single collection. Biography Television Jaspars was born in Gronsveld, and studied at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy, Filmacademie in Amsterdam. In 1964 he was the founder, with Nicolai van der Heyde and Pim de la Parra, of the movie magazine ''Skoop''. His career as a television producer took off in 1967 when he was part of the team (with Wim T. Wim van der Linden (1 January 1941, Amsterdam – 4 April 2001, Miami) was a Dutch photographer and film and television director. As a photographer he documented slums and subcultures in Amsterdam in the 1960s. His "Tulips", one of four experimental and satirical ''Sad Movies'' (1966-1967), is praised as one of the dramatic high points of Dutch film history, and with Wim T. Schippers and others he made groundbreaking and controversial television shows for the VPRO in the 1960s to the 1970s. Biography Van der Linden studied at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy, and gained prominence as a photographer in the early 1960s, taking pictures of nozems, teenagers who made up the first Dutch counterculture of the post-World War II period.
