Harold Grey
Harold Grey (born December 20, 1971) is a former boxer who was the IBF super flyweight champion twice in the mid-1990s. He was born in Arjona, Bolívar, Colombia. Pro career Grey turned pro in 1990 and won his first 16 fights, setting up an IBF super flyweight title fight against Julio César Borboa in 1994. Grey won very disputed split decision, and defended the belt three times before losing it to Carlos Gabriel Salazar Carlos Gabriel Salazar (born 5 September 1964) is an Argentine former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 1998. Julio César Borboa García (born 12 August 1969) is a Mexican former professional boxer. He is a former NABF and the IBF Super Flyweight Champion. Professional career In November 1992, Borboa beat an undefeated and future WBO world Bantamweight Champion, African Alfred Kotey to earn his first title shot. IBF Super Flyweight Championship On May 31, 1997 Julio César won the IBF Super Flyweight Championship by upsetting the undefeated Robert Quiroga by T.K.O. in the twelfth round. Carlos Gabriel Salazar (born 5 September 1964) is an Argentine former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 1998. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the IBF super flyweight title from 1995 to 1996, and the WBO flyweight title from 1996 and 1998. Professional career As a professional he had 58 fights (47–3–8), from 1985 to 1998. He campaigned at the flyweight and super flyweight divisions, winning world titles in both. After 3 unsuccessful attempts at the world title, Salazar became the IBF World super flyweight champion when he beat Harold Grey in 1995. Daniel Gregorio "Danny" Romero Jr. (born July 12, 1974) is an American former professional boxer who competed between 1992 and 2006. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the IBF flyweight title from 1995 to 1996 and the IBF junior bantamweight title from 1996 to 1997. Professional career Romero's first fight as a professional was on September 14, 1992, when he knocked out Raul Hernandez in the first round at Phoenix, Arizona. His first eight bouts all took place in the Phoenix area, and he won all, seven by knockout.
