Harmonize (singer)
Rajab Abdul Kahali (born 15 March 1990), also known by his stage name Harmonize, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist and music entrepreneur born in Mtwara Region. Since 2009 after completing his secondary school education, Harmonize is living in Dar es Salaam. Sometimes, he is referred to as Konde Boy referring to his Makonde heritage. Other names he goes by include Jeshi, Tembo, Mbunge, Konde-Mabeyo and Bakhresa. "Aiyola" is his debut song which introduced him to Tanzanian music industry in 2015. He is well known for his songs "Kwa Ngwaru", featuring Diamond Platnumz, and "Show Me" featuring Rich Mavoko. In 2017, MTV Base included him in their African edition of "Ones to Watch for 2017". He was the first artist to sign a recording contract with Diamond Platnumz WCB Wasafi label and has since founded his own record label company, Konde Music Worldwide. Mtwara
Mtwara (Portuguese: ''Montewara'') is the capital city of Mtwara Region in southeastern Tanzania. In the 1940s, it was planned and constructed as the export facility for the disastrous Tanganyika groundnut scheme, but was somewhat neglected when the scheme was abandoned in 1951. The city is spread out over a large area planned to accommodate up to 200,000 people. The present population is around 108,000. As part of the development associated with the failed Tanganyika groundnut scheme, Mtwara features a deep-water port that can accommodate ocean-going vessels, and a range of large municipal buildings, including a post office. Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike (born 9 October 1986), populary known as Phyno Fino, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Raoul John Njeng-Njeng (born 1 April 1991), better known by his stage name Skales (an acronym for Seek Knowledge Acquire Large Entrepreneurial Skills), is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Oluwatosin Ajibade (born 19 July 1991), better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian-born, Ghana-based singer. Makonde People
The Makonde are an ethnic group in southeast Tanzania, northern Mozambique, and Kenya. The Makonde developed their culture on the Mueda Plateau in Mozambique. At present they live throughout Tanzania and Mozambique, and have a small presence in Kenya. The Makonde population in Tanzania was estimated in 2001 to be 1,140,000, and the 1997 census in Mozambique put the Makonde population in that country at 233,358, for an estimated total of 1,373,358. The ethnic group is roughly divided by the Ruvuma River; members of the group in Tanzania are referred to as the Makonde, and those in Mozambique as the Maconde.
