Diamond Platnumz
Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack (born 2 October 1989), popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist, dancer, philanthropist and a businessman of Ha heritage. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Wasafi Bet and Wasafi Media. Diamond has gained a massive following in East and Central Africa. He became the first Africa-based artist to reach a combined total of one billion views on YouTube. After signing a record deal with Universal Music in 2017, Platnumz released his third studio album, ''A Boy from Tandale'' (2018). In 2021, Diamond together with his record label WCB Wasafi entered into a 360 Partnership with Warner Music Group. Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa (born 22 August 1993), better known by his stage name Rayvanny, is a Tanzanian musician, songwriter and recording artist who was signed under WCB Wasafi record label until July 2022. He was born and raised in Nzovwe ward of Mbeya city, located in Mbeya Region. He is the most successful bongo flava musician in Tanzania from Mbeya region. He is the founder and CEO of Next Level Music. Rayvanny is best known by his song "Kwetu", which introduced him to the world. Rayvanny was mentioned by MTV Base among "Acts To Look Out For" in 2017. Angel Nyigu
Angel Nyigu is a Tanzanian dancer and choreographer. She has extensively worked with recording artist Diamond Platnumz appearing in his music videos and is the founder of Tanzania Dance. Her dance routines mainly consist of Afro dance, Hip hop and Dancehall. Early life and career Angel started dancing at an early age of 16. Before pursuing her career in dancing, she wanted to become an electrical engineer. Her passion for dancing eventually led her to getting more exposure through live performances. Hamisi Shaban Taletale, also known as Babu Tale (born 31 December 1982), is a Tanzanian talent manager and politician presently serving as the Chama Cha Mapinduzi's Member of Parliament for Morogoro South constituency since November 2020. Zuchu
Zuhura Othman Soud (born 22 November 1993), better known by her stage name Zuchu, is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter born in Zanzibar. She is based in Dar es Salaam and signed to WCB Wasafi record label. She was awarded the Silver Plaque Button by YouTube for hitting 100,000 subscribers within a week. She became the first East African female artist to reach that milestone within a week. She also became the first East African female artist to reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube 11 months later. Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi (born 3 October 1991), better known by his stage name Mbosso Khan is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter born in Kibiti, Pwani Region, he is currently based in Dar es Salaam and signed under WCB Wasafi record label. Abdul Juma Idd (born March 27, 1993) popularity known by his stage name Lava Lava is a Tanzanian singer signed under WCB Wasafi record label. Career Lava Lava joined Tanzania House of Talents (THT) where he learned music. Upon completion of his music study, a companion from WCB Wasafi requested that he present himself to Wasafi records and he was fortunate to be marked in. While at Wasafi records it took him two years before being uncovered to the fans. Harmonize (musician)
Rajab Abdul Kahali (born 15 March 1990), also known by his stage name Harmonize, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist and music entrepreneur born in Mtwara Region. Since 2009 after completing his secondary school education, Harmonize is living in Dar es Salaam. Sometimes, he is referred to as Konde Boy referring to his Makonde heritage. Other names he goes by include Jeshi, Tembo, Mbunge, Konde-Mabeyo and Bakhresa. "Aiyola" is his debut song which introduced him to Tanzanian music industry in 2015.
