Harkisan Mehta
Harkisan Laldas Mehta (1928–1998) was a Gujarati author and journalist from India. He was the editor of a weekly, '' Chitralekha''. He wrote several novels. Life Mehta was born in Mahuva near Bhavnagar, Gujarat on 25 May 1928. He completed his school education from M. N. Highschool in Mahuva. He studied till inter Arts. He married on 10 February 1953 in Matunga, Mumbai. He served as an editor of Gujarati weekly, ''Chitralekha'', from 1958 to 1998. He died on 3 April 1998 in Mumbai following heart attack. Works Mehta wrote many of his novels in serialised format in ''Chitralekha'' weekly. His novels are often inspired from real life incidents such as ''Jad Chetan'' was inspired by Aruna Shanbaug case. Mahuva, Bhavnagar
Mahuva is a town and taluka of Bhavnagar District, in the state of Gujarat, India. Located on the coast of the Arabian Sea, Mahuva is known for its mild weather and green, lush surroundings, including many coconut tree plantations. The town is a part of the Saurashtra region and is known as the Kashmir of Saurashtra. Mahuva is also known for wooden toys, raw onions, groundnuts, and a local variety of mango called the Jamadar. ''Sambhav Asambhav'' was a Hindi language Indian television series that premiered on Sony TV on 1 May 2003, is based on a Gujarati novel ''Sambhav Asambhav'' written by Harkisan Mehta. The story is based on the lives of who get caught in the vortex of reincarnation. The series was directed by known television director Anant Mahadevan, and was shot at various locations in Mumbai including Film City and Madh Island. The show ended on 23 October 2003.
