Harald Ofner
Harald Ofner (born 25 October 1932, Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian lawyer and politician for the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). From 1942 to 1945 Ofner attended the Nazi-era National Political Institutes of Education in Traiskirchen near Vienna. Subsequently, he became a heavy current electrician. He attended a Matura school and studied law (Dr. iur., 1958). By 1965, he was a lawyer. His political career began in the town council of Mödling. From 1976 to 1986, he was a provincial team leader of the FPÖ Lower Austria branch. From 1979 to 1983, and from 1986 to 2002 he was a deputy to the National Council. From 1983 to 1987, Ofner was Austrian justice minister in the governments of Fred Sinowatz and Franz Vranitzky. Ofner previously defended Peter Paul Rainer in 2000. Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus () is the 15th municipal District of Vienna, Austria (german: 15. Bezirk). It is in central Vienna, west of Innere Stadt. The Order of the Dannebrog ( da, Dannebrogordenen) is a Danish order of chivalry instituted in 1671 by Christian V. Until 1808, membership in the order was limited to fifty members of noble or royal rank, who formed a single class known as ''White Knights'' to distinguish them from the ''Blue Knights'' who were members of the Order of the Elephant. In 1808, the Order was reformed and divided into four classes. The ''Grand Commander'' class is reserved to persons of princely origin. It is awarded only to royalty with close family ties with the Danish Royal House. The statute of the Order was amended in 1951 by a Royal Ordinance so that both men and women could be members of the Order. ''Lucona'' was a ship sunk in the Indian Ocean on 23 January 1977 by a bomb planted by Austrian businessman Udo Proksch, as part of an insurance fraud. Proksch, the owner of the cargo, also then-owner of famous Viennese confectioners Demel, claimed 212 million schilling (approx. US$20 million) from his insurance company, saying that the cargo was expensive uranium mining equipment. He was subsequently convicted in 1991 of the murder of six crew (of the crew of 12) who were killed by the explosion, and died in prison. The ''Lucona'' was located by American shipwreck hunter David Mearns in January 1991; this was his first discovered very deep water wreck, at 4,200 metres (13,799 feet).
