Ahmad Saba'a (or Ahmed Saba, ar, أحمد سبع, he, אחמד סבע; born 24 May 1980) is an Arab-Israeli former footballer. Biography Ahmad Saba'a was born in Majd al-Kurum, Israel, to a Muslim-Arab family. His cousin Dia Saba'a is a footballer as well.In 2010, Saba'a founded his own football school, operating in his hometown of Majd al-Kurum. The school has 180 protégés and its main goal is to bring local talent from Majd al-Kurum to the second and first division leagues in Israel. Zalafa
Zalafa ( ar, زلفة, he, זלפה) is an Arab village in Israel's Haifa District. The village is in the Wadi Ara area of the northern Triangle, northeast of Umm al-Fahm. Since 1996, it has been under the jurisdiction of the Ma'ale Iron local council whose headquarters is in the village. The village is divided into three neighborhoods: East, West and al-Murtafi'a. In mid-2016, Zalafa's population was 4,639, all of whom are Muslim. Liga Gimel ( he, ליגה ג', lit. ''League C'') is the fifth and bottom division of Israeli Football League, a position it has held since 2009. From Liga Alef and downwards to this, each league is separated by region as well. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Further demotions followed in 1976, after the second tier Liga Artzit to the fifth tier and in 1999, after the establishment of Liga Ha'Al to the sixth tier. The 2015–16 Liga Bet season is the 60th season of fourth tier football in Israel. League matches began on 2 October 2015 and ended on 19 April 2016, followed by promotion and relegation play-offs. Tzeirei Kafr Kanna (champions of the North A division), F.C Haifa Robi Shapira (champions of the North B division), F.C. Bnei Jaffa Ortodoxim (champions of the South A division) and F.C. Dimona (champions of the South B division) won their divisional titles and promotion to Liga Alef. Liga Bet ( he, ליגה ב', lit. ''League B'') is the fourth tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into four regional divisions. History League football started in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef with Liga Bet as the second division. The 1952–53 season was also not played, and Liga Bet resumed in 1953–54.
