Hans Sølberg Struksnæs (24 April 1902 – 25 April 1983) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. Hov is the administrative centre of Søndre Land Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located in the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Land, Norway, Land, along the east shore of the large Randsfjorden where the Norwegian county roads 34 and 247 meet. Sailing/Yachting is an Olympic sport starting from the Games of the 1st Olympiad ( 1896 Olympics in Athens, Greece). With the exception of 1904 and the canceled 1916 Summer Olympics, sailing has always been included on the Olympic schedule. The Sailing program of 1936 consisted of a total of four sailing classes (disciplines). For each class seven races were scheduled from 29 August 1936 to 8 September 1936 at the Firth of Kiel.
