Hans Lindberg
Hans Óttar Lindberg Tómasson (born 1 August 1981) is a Danish handball player of Icelandic descent for Füchse Berlin and the Danish national team. He won the 2008 European Men's Handball Championship and the 2012 European Men's Handball Championship with the Danish national team. He currently plays for Füchse Berlin. He is of Icelandic descent as both of Lindberg's parents, Tómas Erling Lindberg and Sigrún Sigurðardóttir, are Icelandic. His parents played handball in Iceland with Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar. He had Icelandic citizenship until he was 18. His paternal grandparents immigrated to Iceland from Suduroy on the Faroe Islands in the mid-1940s. He is sometimes referred to as the Icelander on the Danish national team in Icelandic media. Handball Sport Verein Hamburg is a handball club from Germany, located in Hamburg. Currently, Handball Hamburg competes in the Handball-Bundesliga. The full name in German is ''Handball Sport Verein Hamburg e.V.'' but the club has traditionally been called ''HSV Handball'', ''HSV Hamburg'' or simply ''HSV''. 2022 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2022 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 15th edition of the tournament and the second to feature 24 national teams. It was co-hosted in two countries – Hungary and Slovakia – from 13 to 30 January 2022. It was won by Sweden. The games in Hungary were played with full capacity, while the games in Slovakia were capped at 25% capacity, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. EHF Champions League
The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men. The EHF coefficient rank decides which teams have access and in which stage they enter. Eligibility and qualifying Each year, the EHF publishes a ranking list of its member federations. The first 9 nations are automatically permitted to participate in the tournament with their national champion. The 2022–23 EHF European League was the 42nd season of Europe's secondary club handball tournament organised by European Handball Federation (EHF), and the 3rd season since it was renamed from the EHF Cup to the EHF European League. Yoon Kyung-shin
Yoon Kyung-shin (born July 7, 1973 in Seoul) is a South Korean handball manager and former player. Playing career Yoon Kyung-shin could play in German Handball-Bundesliga through his outstanding performances in World Championships. He played for VfL Gummersbach from 1996 to 2006, and for HSV Hamburg from 2006 to 2008. He became the top goalscorer of the Bundesliga seven times, and is currently all-time highest scoring player of Bundesliga with 2,905 goals. He was also voted the World Player of the Year by the International Handball Federation (IHF) in 2001. He played more than 260 games for the South Korea national handball team, and was top goalscorer at three World Championships and one Summer Olympics. Faroe Islands
