The 2012–13 EHF Champions League was the 53rd edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament and the 20th edition under the current EHF Champions League format. THW Kiel was the defending champion. The final four was played on 1–2 June 2013. HSV Hamburg won their first title by defeating Barcelona Intersport 30–29 in the final. EHF Champions League
The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men. The EHF coefficient rank decides which teams have access and in which stage they enter. Eligibility and qualifying Each year, the EHF publishes a ranking list of its member federations. The first 9 nations are automatically permitted to participate in the tournament with their national champion. The national federation ranked one in the EHF European League currently Germany, is awarded a second qualification berth for the domestic runner-up. Chekhovskie Medvedi (russian: Чеховские Медведи, en, Chekhov Bears) is a handball club from Chekhov, Moscow Oblast, Russia. They compete in the Russian Handball Super League and in the SEHA League. After the launching of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Handball Federation in February 2022 temporarily suspended the team. 2011–12 Ekstraklasa (men's Handball)
The 2011–12 Ekstraklasa (also known as T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to its sponsorship by T-Mobile Polska) was the 78th season of the highest level of football leagues in Poland since its establishment in 1927. It started on 29 July 2011 and concluded on 6 May 2012. A total of 16 teams participated, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2010–11 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the 2010–11 season of the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Śląsk Wrocław won the title, which marked their 2nd title in Ekstraklasa history. The defending champions were Wisła Kraków, who won their 13th Polish championship in the previous season.
