Hans Lindahl Falck
Hans Lindahl Falck (19 March 1863 – 1937) was a Norwegian ship-owner and politician. He was born in Stavanger as a son of Thomas Scheen Falck, Sr. (1829–1889) and Anna Lindahl (1842–1921). He was a brother of consul Christian Fredrik Falck. In 1890 he married Karen Johanne Poulsson. Their son Thomas Scheen Falck, Jr. became a notable ship-owner. Falck took commercial education in Germany, England, France and the United States. He then started a career in the family company ''Ths. S. Falck'' in 1888, and advanced to co-owner in 1889. Falck was elected as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from ''Stavanger og Haugesund'' during the term 1895–1897. He was a member of Stavanger city council for 25 years, serving as mayor for eight years. From 1890 to 1914 he also served as a consul for the German Empire. Stavanger (, , American English, US usually , ) is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. It is the fourth largest city and third largest metropolitan area in Norway (through conurbation with neighboring Sandnes) and the administrative center of Rogaland county. The Order of the Red Eagle (german: Roter Adlerorden) was an order of chivalry of the Kingdom of Prussia. It was awarded to both military personnel and civilians, to recognize valor in combat, excellence in military leadership, long and faithful service to the kingdom, or other achievements. As with most German (and most other European) orders, the Order of the Red Eagle could only be awarded to commissioned officers or civilians of approximately equivalent status. Jonas Schanche Kielland (20 November 1863 – 1 June 1925) was a Norwegian judge and politician. Family He was born in Horten to Jacob Kielland and his wife Thora Margrethe (1827–1902), née Bendz. His grandfather was Jacob Kielland, his uncle Jens Zetlitz Kielland and his cousins Kitty Lange and Alexander Kielland. Jonas Schancke Kielland had four older brothers, one of whom died young, and one older sister. His brother Axel Christian Zetlitz Kielland became a diplomat, and another brother Christian Bendz Kielland became a high-ranking civil servant. In 1893 Jonas Schanche Kielland married Helene Christiane Lorange (1868–1925). Andreas Meling
Andreas Meling (22 September 1839 – 8 August 1928) was a Norwegian ship owner and politician. Biography He was born in Sola, Norway, Sole as a son of bailiff Enok Torgersen and Elen Røgh Skavlan. In 1864 he married Lina Monsen, whose brother was a locally known painter and sister married Peter Hærem. Meling was a shipmaster for much of his career, until 1881. He served as Mayor of Stavanger from 1893. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 1894 Norwegian parliamentary election, 1894, after having previously served as a deputy representative.
